    When Love Dies
This is my account of events. There is the truth, my account and his version.

I am a recovering ex-girlfriend. And like a recovering alcoholic, I still have strong cravings. Wanting him, needing him, just one last time. Moments of frenzy are peppered throughout the days when the yearnings overwhelm me and I am reduced to a tortured mess. Like a wounded animal, I sit quietly listening to my labored breathing, my beating heart and as the tears flow freely, I am taken to place where only he occupies. I am haunted by his image, his laughter, and his words. I am consumed by hate, by love, by hate, just consumed.

    POETRY
    Go home, little girl
Hey little girl only 14 in your high school uniform
Shame little girl, those men with the high class beamers

Hey little girl the world is your oyster
Wait little girl he doesn’t love you; he loves only your innocent youth.

Hey little girl what’s that on your finger
No ring little girl, you are only a passing fling.

Hey little girl tell him your dreams
You are his trophy little girl, pretty smile, pretty face

Hey little girl go live your life
His life is complete little girl, yours hasn’t even begun

Hey little girl its 4 o’clock in the morning
Go home little girl, go home.

    Biography
People have causes, they fall in love, they plan weddings, have children, go to gyms, even climb Mt Everest. I am not one of those people. I go to school. I have made a career out of formal education and my latest quest has been a Masters degree in Communications in New York. While living in Rhode Island, I have decided that not only will I become a professional conversationalist, I will conquer love, life and yes, I will be victorious.

    COLUMNS
    Dear bride
Sometimes a bridesmaid has to complain. The shocking pink dresses, the lecherous uncles and the adolescent younger brothers, is it all really worthwhile? Mimi Tsiane puts it down in writing...

    Sometimes, it is love
The dating world is an unpleasant dome, where rules are broken, made and reinvented. An assortment of characters linger waiting for an opportunity to entice you with false claims and expectations. I loathe the whole scene and spent part of an entire year as a single, non-dating woman.

    Celebrate who you are
As a young Motswana woman, I am proud to be part of a generation of opportunity, born with the need to surpass all our parents' dreams and expectations. Botswana is a country that takes pride in family and respect for all mankind. We are a humble people by nature.
