Biography
Bryony (pronounced: Braai-Knee), hails from a rustic surfing village nestled on the Kwa Zulu Natal Coast, Westbrook. She grew up without robots, stop streets, crime or electric gates. As a child she dreamt of winning Miss Tinkerbell, spent her waking hours in the surf and outdoors building tree houses and forts, was undoubtedly impressed every Friday by the mastermind MacGyver and was often preoccupied by hundreds and thousands, glitter and saving small animals.

    Valentines Day
    Valentines Day. Due to the fact that I have just been broken up with, it is with immense effort that I try not to be cynical. It’s just really hard though. Its such a money making scheme.


    Girlz on Boardz #2 Shark Problem
    It is with great sadness and disturbing fear that I am commenting on the latest shark attack, which occurred at Sunny Cove in Cape Town on the early hours of Monday, 15 November.


    Girlz on Boardz
    I have had my fair share of board riding in my life, which in many respects will continue, though unintentionally with more caution and fear, as I get older. As a female I have taken many an abusive "fluk", the odd pinch on the arse and numerous "she'll never do it" eyeball rolls. On the other end of the scale however, I have been overwhelmed with people (guys) adding extra care, comfort and help in my quest to better myself and improve my skills.

    My Generation
    A packet of Ghostpops is sacredly opened and passed around. It's not long before I find myself in the midst of another "remember when" conversation- a group of young adults sitting draped around a room talking about their childhood memories.


    The Fitness Flyer
    Gym- my second home. As sad as it, I belong to the crowd of people who, bar the occasional jog after work or exercise on the weekend, am forced to work-out indoors.

    I have my little routine that I do every session- cycle to warm up my legs, row to warm up my upper body and then slog it on the treadmill for twenty minutes.


    Ultimate Weekend Get-Away
    There is nothing better than waking up to sun streaming through your window, providing you don't have a hangover or have overslept an important meeting. Birds singing outside, green trees, duvet cover minus a duvet.
